The latest Grand Prix™ Mode Event is now live for F1® Delta Time!

When weather is not a factor, who can rise to the top?

It’s another action-filled week ahead at the F1® Delta Time and summer approaches, days are getting longer, and warmer, but what happens when weather is not a factor in Formula 1®? This week’s Grand Prix Mode Event in F1® Delta Time introduces a new twist, with Trophies and 80,000 REVV on offer!

Details of this Grand Prix™ Mode event

In this Grand Prix™ Mode Event, players compete on the 6 different Formula 1® Grand Prix Events;

Formula 1® Pirelli British Grand Prix™
Formula 1® Circuit de Monaco
Formula 1® Circuit de Spa Francorchamps
Formula 1® Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Formula 1® Shanghai International Circuit
Formula 1® Bahrain Grand Prix™

The event runs for 7 days starting on 12th April 2021 and ending at 23:59:59 (UTC) on 18 April 2021.

You can compete in every Tier for every circuit, however, to mix things up this time weather will not be a factor for your end results! You will still need to consider weather on your performance by picking the right tyres and composition, but points are calculated based on who was fastest on that circuit in that Tier. This allows for example those who have a smaller garage to tactically choose weather conditions that they thrive in and focus on putting in the best possible time for each circuit. Your final placing in each Leaderboard will grant you the following points:

The points you earned across all Leaderboards are then tallied to generate the final standings.

This means that if you’re focused on playing in a single Tier, you will have only 6 Leaderboards to compete on, one for each event. 12 Trophies will also be earned by the top 3 of each Tier per season, after all of the points have been tallied.

Trophies and REVV prizes

There is also a pool of 40,000 REVV for each season to compete for, which will be shared among the fastest players in each Tier. Fastest player is determined by looking at the total points the player achieves across different tracks.

Tier A — Stat Minimum: 16,000+

Tier B — Stat Range: 10,001–16,000

Tier C — Stat Range: 6,001–10,000

Tier D — Stat Range: 0–6,000

The new Grand Prix™ Mode event runs from 12 April to 18 April 2021, 23:59:59 (UTC)
The Events featured in this event are: Formula 1® Pirelli British Grand Prix™, Formula 1® Circuit de Monaco, Formula 1® Circuit de Spa Francorchamps, Formula 1® Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Formula 1® Shanghai International Circuit and Bahrain Grand Prix™
The final standings are score based, and will be uploaded to this post after the event, please note that this may take a few days
Rewards include REVV 12 Trophies, and 40,000 REVV tokens per season

On Another Note: The Future of Events

We are soon to be wrapping up this current event format, as we move to a new event system. One which will provide daily racing rewards and opportunities to Play-to-Earn. This new model becomes similar to what to expect when the multiplayer releases, too.
