Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps arrives in F1® Delta Time!
It’s time for some highly anticipated news, as this week will mark the release of the second F1® Delta Time circuit and the very first Grand Prix tournament on the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps!
Set in 300 acres of forest in the mountains of Belgium, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is one of the most challenging and historic race tracks in Formula 1. The legendary circuit has been hosting the Belgian Grand Prix since 1925. Now this historic circuit is ready for some high octane racing action within F1® Delta Time. It is also good news for those who have faced performance issues racing on the Monaco Grand Prix™, as this circuit will be more playable and friendly for a wider set of devices.
About Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
The legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps pushes drivers and cars to their limits, with long straights and fast challenging corners. It is undoubtedly one of the favourites amongst F1 drivers, featuring famous well known sequences such as Eau Rouge and Raidillon. Weather is often changing on this circuit, so expect to use those intermediate and wet tyres.
You’ll want a setup that highlights your car’s grip and downforce in the high speed corners, but with enough straight line speed to maximise the four or five flat out sections. Smooth driving is a key to being fast here, as many of the long sweeping turns require high cornering speeds.
Release and Grand Prix™details
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps will become available from 3rd February 2021, starting off with an exciting shorter Grand Prix™ event from Wednesday 07:00 UTC till Sunday 00:00 UTC, to get those engines warmed up! For this event winners will take home a total of 50,000 REVV!
The prizes will go out to the top 10 fastest of each Tier, regardless of weather:
And as usual, we would like to hear from you guys and about your experiences on this new circuit, so please let us know your feedback here.
To play the Grand Prix Mode, or any other F1® Delta Time game modes, you will need a car, driver and tyre NFTs. These can currently be purchased from the secondary market at OpenSea or from the 2020 Key Sale going live on Thursday 4th February.
This sale is the last opportunity to buy 2020 content Keys from F1® Delta Time and our last much bigger sale sold out in under 5 hours, so make sure you have some REVV ready to go.
